PRE Andalusians are a rare and magnificent breed of horse from Spain. You may have seen them in movies such as Zorro or Lord of the Rings, or watched them perform at Medieval Times.  Seeing their long flowing mane and graceful arched neck it is easy to understand why this breed is called "The Horse of Kings."  They have been highly favored as warhorses and for use in bullfighting because of their brave and trusting dispositions and their quick and agile movements.  The breed's purity was saved by the Carthusian Monks in Spain during Napolean's reign.  They are still rare in the United States but increasing in popularity especially with dressage competitors.
